Editorial policy
Western Living Review aims to make domestic subjects clear, fair and worth a reader's attention. We separate what can be established from what is a matter of taste, and we update the record when a meaningful error comes to light.
Accuracy and context
We check factual statements against suitable sources and review names, descriptions and context before publication. Where a point is uncertain or interpretations differ, we say so rather than making confidence do the work of evidence.
Independence
Editorial decisions belong to the publication. A product, company or other outside party does not receive a promise of favourable coverage in exchange for access, payment or support.
Corrections
Readers can flag possible errors through the Contact page. We assess specific, relevant information and correct material errors with care; when an update changes the meaning of a piece, we make that change clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, sponsored or partner material is identified clearly where it appears and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when used, they are not presented as documentary photographs or evidence.
